IE6 Usage Drops Below 1%

Developers and clients alike should rejoice at the recent news released by Microsoft: Internet Explorer 6 usage in the U.S. has finally dropped below 1 percent. I’m sure the folks over at Mashable are excited that their nearly two year old call that “IE6 Must Die” finally seems to be arriving.

Usage of IE6 has followed similar slipping usage patterns in Austria, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway, according to Microsoft.
